General Conduct

1. Hack4Bengal ID Card:
   • Participants must wear their Hack4Bengal ID cards at all times while on campus.
   • If requested by security or event staff, participants must present their ID cards for verification.
2. Loitering:
   • No loitering is allowed around the campus.
   • Please stay within the designated event areas and avoid entering spaces where you are not authorized.
3. Exit Policy:
   • Once you enter the campus, you will not be allowed to exit until the end of the event.
   • Exceptions may be made for emergency reasons, but these must be communicated to and approved by the event organizers.
4. Designated Areas:
   • Participants must remain within the designated hackathon areas.
   • Entering restricted areas is strictly prohibited and may result in expulsion from the event.

Safety and Security

1. Emergency Procedures:
   • In case of an emergency, follow the instructions of event staff and security personnel.
   • Familiarize yourself with the emergency exits and evacuation routes.
2. Personal Belongings:
   • Keep your personal belongings secure. The event organizers are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
   • Unattended items may be removed by security for safety reasons.

Facilities Usage

1. Cleanliness:
   • Maintain cleanliness in all event areas. Dispose of trash in the designated bins.
   • Eating and drinking are allowed only in specified areas. Please keep these areas clean.
2. Equipment and Resources:
   • Use the provided equipment and resources responsibly. Report any damages or issues to the event staff immediately.
   • Do not tamper with or misuse the facilities and equipment provided.

Behavior and Conduct

1. Respect and Courtesy:
   • Treat fellow participants, organizers, volunteers, and campus staff with respect and courtesy.
   • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion.
2. Noise Levels:
   • Keep noise levels to a minimum, especially in shared spaces.
   • Use headphones when listening to audio and be mindful of others who may be working or resting.
